Our story
VetThing started with one belief – that great veterinary care comes from people who are trusted, supported, and given the freedom to do things properly. Today, we're a growing community of like-minded practices, each doing things their own way, but brought together by a culture that puts people and pets first.
A new way forward
Over time, the veterinary world has changed. Practices have grown, groups have formed, and new models have emerged.
But too often, that growth has come at a cost. A loss of identity. Less time. More pressure. And a feeling that something important is being left behind.
VetThing was created with a clear purpose: to give veterinary professionals the environment they need to deliver the best possible care for pets.
Growing stronger
We believe that while practices are strong on their own, they’re even stronger when they’re connected. That’s why our community has been growing across the UK since 2025. As we grow, we continue to see real interest from across the profession, from people who want to understand what we offer and why our approach is different. One size does not fit all. And we're proud that every single one of our practices is unique. Rooted in its local community, shaped by its people, and built in its own way. All while being supported by the additional resources, shared knowledge, and investment we provide.

We’ll continue to show that protecting what makes a practice great is what helps it thrive. That the happiest teams build the strongest practices, and deliver the best care for pets. And we’ll keep doing it without losing what matters most. Staying true to the values that brought us here in the first place.
